Welcome to the Project Kerkini Hall of Fame. Here, in a small way, by telling the world of their existance I try to honour the many entomologists and other biologists who have selflessly given of their time, effort and acquired expertise to make this project the unique success it is. None of the people on this list has been paid for the work they have done and many of them have done many hours of hard work. Their dedication to their science, and their generosity make them, each and every one, a testament to what is good in humanity.
If more than one person is listed for a group this can be for several reasons. 1) They have worked on the group successively. 2) They offered to work on the group at the same time and I decided to split the work between them. 3) The group is very difficult and time consuming to work on so I have deliberately sort out more than one person in order to reduce the work load.
Some notes about the columns.
Act = Currently active, this project started in 1994, some people have given of their time for a while and then found that their lives have moved on and they no longer have the time, or the facilities to be involved.
Institute = This is the institute that the person works at, but a blank space does not mean anything more than that I do not know of the institute.
